After much reflection, I’ve made an important decision: I am stepping down from my City Council seat a year early to pursue the role of Mayor in this upcoming May 2025 election. This decision wasn’t an easy choice, but it’s one I feel deeply compelled to make for the future of Our City.
Fortunately, I will continue serving as councilwoman until my seat is filled by the next elected official.
We’re at a turning point, with an opportunity for meaningful change through new leadership, including several strong candidates for City Council. However, we also need a Mayor who can lead with vision, integrity, and a deep understanding of our residents’ needs.
Serving on City Council for the past three years has been a privilege, and I’ve worked diligently to address the concerns of our community. Every moment has been an opportunity to serve, learn, and grow alongside you.
As Mayor, my mission will be to strengthen communication with residents, amplify your voices and ensure your concerns guide our city’s future.
Above all, economic development will be my top priority – bringing new opportunities, fostering local business growth, and building a thriving, sustainable economy for everyone.
Together, we can build a city we’re all proud to call home. I would be honored to serve as your Mayor, and I hope to earn your trust and support.
